Welcome to Shattered Reality, whether you just joined, or you're a scouting guest! Before you read much more on the site, I'd like you to take a look over the following list. The expectations of Shattered Reality aren't extremely difficult to fufill if you're an intermediate role player or higher, but if you find youself shaking your head at this, this probably isn't the right site for you to join.
»The minimum post length for a role play is 250 words.
»Choppy writing isn't accepted. If all of your sentences are about four or five words each, this means you.
»You are not allowed to make your character talk for a majority of your post, just to fill up space. If more than half of your normal posts are dialoge from your character, I'll let you know now, this writing isn't accepted.
»How do I expect you to write 250 words or more? Embellish your writing with detail... instead of writing about something for one sentence, write about it with three sentences.
»OOC posts must be at least one complete sentence. You are not allowed to post a reply to something with "lol". No, that won't fly. You would have to make that into a sentence.
»Chatspeak is absolutely limited! It is not to be found anywhere at all on the forum, and you may not talk like a complete n00b even on the C-Box. Using phrases such as 'lol' or 'brb' or 'gtg' on th C-box is acceptable, as long as you don't start tlkin lyk dis in all ur posts.
»Bios are not to be skimpy. Period. I know that not everyone writes four paragraphs for each section, but you can at least give me two nice sized paragraphs.
